The UAI Digital Citizenship Training Program concluded the 2025 edition of the 'Educating in the Digital Age' course with a lecture by expert Magdalena Claro on the use of cell phones in the classroom and the certification of participating teachers.
The regulation, which seeks to bring order to the educational environment and take effect starting in the 2026 school year, establishes a ban on the use of mobile devices in preschool, primary, and secondary education, while defining a specific set of cases where their use is permitted.

The Fostering Digital Citizenship Program from Adolfo Ibáñez University delivered the "Educating in the Digital Age" workshop to about fifty staff members from the Municipality of Peñalolén. The session took place last Friday, October 10th, in the auditorium of Building E at the UAI's Peñalolén campus.
