Course: Educating in the Digital Age: School Projects for Digital Citizenship

This program, which will take place between September 24 and December 10, 2025, seeks to strengthen the role of teachers in the critical and responsible integration of technologies in the classroom, providing tools to guide students in the safe, ethical, and participatory use of the digital world.

Course Objectives

• Recognize the characteristics of digital technologies and their interaction with the development of children and adolescents.
• Identify digital practices that impact well-being.
• Incorporate the new guidelines of the national curriculum related to digital citizenship and school community life.
• Design a digital citizenship intervention project applicable to each school community.

Who is it for?

Directors, school community life coordinators, technology teachers, educators, and teaching assistants from all levels of formal education, as well as professionals linked to socio-educational support.

Dates and Structure

The course is taught in a synchronous online format via Zoom, with sessions on Wednesdays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in addition to autonomous work periods and intermediate evaluations.

Autonomous work week: 11/10 to 11/16

Module 7: 11/26 – Fact-checking and democracy.

Module 8: 12/03 – Digital society: Opportunities.

Module 9: 12/10 – Project presentations and certificate delivery.
